About the Location:
Interface People is located in Lewisville, Texas, which is part of the sprawling DFW metroplex and a neighboring city of Dallas which lies just a few miles south.  Lewisville offers quite a bit of recreation and entertainment. Located between Lewisville Lake and Lake Grapevine, Lewisville serves as a popular destination for Dallas area residents for many types of lake recreation.  Lewisville contains several marinas, as well as 3 private golf courses.  Many professional sports teams make their home in the Dallas area as well.  Nearby Texas Motor Speedway also serves as a venue for professional driving competition.  Lewisville provides a wide variety of shopping experiences.  Vista Ridge mall offers 1 million square feet of shopping, making it one of the largest shopping malls in the north Dallas area.  Lewisville also boasts several multi-screen movie theaters and many specialty shops and over 250 restaurants.

Description:

• Develops hospital interfaces (HL7, XML, custom formats, etc.)
• Works with other vendor systems on new interfaces
• Troubleshoots problems with hospital staff
• Creates reports and extracts
• Works with staff on interface issues
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate them appropriately
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary

Qualifications:

Required Skills / Experience:

• 2+ years MEDITECH Magic programming experience - OR - 2+ years MEDITECH Hospital IT experience plus programming skills, experience supporting MEDITECH servers and applications, etc.
• Self-motivated, well organized, and be able to manage time effectively
• Ability to communicate to a supervisor the status of ongoing issues, recognize priorities or projects and escalate issues appropriately
• Comfortable with working through problems systematically and logically
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills / Experience:

• Hospital systems knowledge
• MEDITECH application support experience
• VB programming experience
• MS Access or other database management application experience
• SQL query building experience
• Healthcare programming experience
• Experience with healthcare applications, specifically MEDITECH
