Current Position(s) Available:
Business Development Consultant
Permanent, Full-Time
Description:
DrFirst, a leading healthcare technology vendor located in the DC Metro area, is growing and we need a professional, successful Business Development Consultant well-versed in sales and business development in MEDITECH Hospitals. This position will report to our corporate offices located in Rockville, MD. Overall responsibilities include:
- Assist with building sales pipeline
- Identification of strategic partners and providers
- Build relationships with key vendor contacts
- Recommend and assist with implementation of: sales strategies, pricing and packaging strategies, and lead generation campaigns
- Assist with streamlining the sales proposal process and sales to service transition
- Assist with marketing strategies
Qualifications:
- BA or BS is required (Business or Marketing / Sales preferred)
- 3+ years experience in Healthcare IT field with background in software sales / marketing, account management, or consulting
- Ability to sell healthcare software and related services to healthcare providers and hospitals
- Ability to develop and write effective proposals that focus on client success
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
